The purpose of the Special Meeting is to officially adopt the 2012 Preliminary Budget to be presented at the Public Hearing scheduled on 11/10/2011 at 7:00 p.m.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, The Parish Town Board will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, November 10th, 2011 at 2938 E. Main Street, Parish, NY beginning at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to hear all comments regarding the 2012 Preliminary Budget and contracts for 2012 with McFee Ambulance and the Parish Fire Company.
Copies of the 2012 Preliminary Budget will be available for inspection prior to the Public Hearing at the Town Clerk’s Office during regular business hours.
PURSANT TO SECTION 113 OF TOWN LAW, the proposed salaries of the following Town Officers are as follows:
- Supervisor - $16,000.00
- Town Clerk - $19,500.00
- Justices (2) each - $10,000.00
- Councilman (4) each - $4,000.00
- Tax Collector - $4,000.00
- Highway Sup’t - $38,000.00
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, A Special Meeting will commence immediately following to amend or adopt the 2012 Preliminary Budget as the 2012 Official Budget for the Town of Parish, and to accept or amend contracts for 2012 with the Parish Fire Company and McFee Ambulance.
All comments will be heard.
THE PUBLIC IS INVITED TO ATTEND.

Town of Parish Notice of Completion of the Tentative Assessment Roll
Notice is hereby given that the Assessor of the Town of Parish, County of Oswego, has completed the tentative assessment roll for the current year and that a copy has been filed with Kelly Reader, Town Clerk, at 2938 E. Main Street, where it may be seen and examined by any interested person until May 31, 2011.
The Assessor will be in attendance with the tentative assessment roll on May 11, 2011 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., and on May 18, 2010 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., and on May 19, 2010 between the hours of 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., and on May 21, 2011 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The Assessor has the authority to stipulate to assessment adjustments prior to Grievance Day.
The Board of Assessment Review will meet on May 24, 2011 between the hours of 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. in said town to hear and examine all complaints in relation to assessments, on the written application of any person believing himself to be aggrieved.

Important Notice from the Town of Parish Assessor's Office
The Town of Parish will be conducting a revaluation. Establishing accurate and equitable values for all property will create a fair distribution of the tax burden. The first and most important step in this process is to collect accurate information. To accomplish this, I will be visiting all parcels throughout the town and measuring the exterior of all structures located on the property.
In the near future there will be a public meeting to inform and answer questions about the revaluation. I look forward to meeting everyone, and if you have any questions please feel free to call me at 315.625.4669.
The Assessor's office is now located in the Village Gym.

The Town of Parish has received notice from the state Public Service Commission (PSC) that the PSC is planning changes to the 315 area code. These changes may involve changes to the boundaries of the 315 area code, resulting in new area codes being assigned.
