Future of Parish Elementary School

The town and village of Parish have begun the process of studying potential re-uses for Parish Elementary School upon its future discontinuance of use by the Altmar-Parish-Williamstown School District. There is now a web site available with information about the study:


Town Board and Joint Board

The Town and Village of Parish Boards joint meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at the Parish Village Gym, 2938 East Main Street, Parish, New York.

The next regular meeting of the Parish town board is scheduled for Thursday, February 16, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at the Parish Village Gym, 2938 East Main Street, Parish, New York.

Planning Board

The next regular meeting of the Parish Town and Village Planning Board is scheduled for Monday, February 27, 2012 at 7:00 p.m., at the Parish Village Gym, 2938 East Main Street, Parish.

New planning board documents have been posted to the Documents page, including a request form to be placed on the planning board's agenda, the state environmental review short form, and application forms for land subdivision and site plan review.

Codes and Zoning Enforcement

Dog Control

A door to door dog enumeration (census) will be conducted in the town of Parish in the upcoming weeks.
