Parish Planning Board Meeting


The Parish Town Board is advertising for an expired vacancy on the Assessment Board of Review. The term is a 5 year term and the term begins October 1st, 2015 and expires September 30th, 2020. Assessment Board of Review Members are expected to attend classes offered annually regarding the grievance process.

The responsibilities of an Assessment Board of Review Member is to attend Grievance Procedure on the 4th Tuesday in May and hear all grievance complaints brought before the Board to determine if the assessment should be changed.

All letters of interest and or resumes should be submitted to Kelly Reader, Parish Town Clerk, PO Box 66, Parish, NY 13131 by May 20th, 2015 no later than 4:00 p.m.

The town clerk's office now accepts credit cards.

Pursuant to Article 41, Section 1660, Paragraph 11 of the New York State and Traffic Law, all Town Roads in the Town of Parish, County of Oswego are temporarily limited to tonnage not to exceed more than (5) tons per axle beginning March 1st, 2015 and ending May 31st, 2015 or until signs are removed.

The next regular meeting of the Parish town board is scheduled for Thursday, May 21, 2015, at 6:30 p.m. at the Parish Village Gym, 2938 East Main Street, Parish, New York.

The next joint meeting of the Parish Town and Village Boards is scheduled for Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Parish Village Gym, 2938 East Main Street, Parish, New York.

The Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year ending 2014 for the Town of Parish is on file in the Parish Town Clerk’s Office located at 2938 E. Main Street, Parish NY in the Village Gym. The Financial Report is available during regular business hours for inspection.

Planning Board

The next regular meeting of the Parish Town and Village Planning Board is scheduled for Monday, May 18, 2015 at 7:00 p.m., at the Parish Village Gym, 2938 East Main Street, Parish.

New planning board documents have been posted to the Documents page, including a request form to be placed on the planning board's agenda, the state environmental review short form, and application forms for land subdivision and site plan review.

Dog Control

If you would like information on dog licensing, contact the Parish town clerk at 315.625.4507.
